Alisa and Joe are permeating with joy all throughout their wedding day, and their chemistry can certainly be felt. An Enchanted Florist at Skippack Village created the most dream-like floral arrangements that illuminated with chromatic beauty. Bartlett Pair Photography truly focused on capturing the adoring glances that this couple shared, and all of the intricate details that were cherished on this day. The second I walked in the door, Alisa’s glowing smile met me and she welcomed me as if we were old friends. That is definitely part of her amazing personality – she makes everyone feel so special and important. Joseph is a perfect complement to her and their families happily admit that they bring out the best in each other.
Their Barnhouse wedding near Philadelphia was rustic yet elegant and filled with so many special moments. It was such a beautiful evening filled with good friends, epic dance moves, and a whole lot of fun!”
How They Met:
“We met the summer before our senior year of undergrad. A bunch of students were taking part in internships and living in one of the dorms over the summer months. Our friends refer to this summer as “The Summer of the Bench” because we all we sat and hung out at a specific picnic bench every night in front of the dorm building.”
The Proposal:
“We both love to cook and make fun and fancy dinners. Joe knew that I was not interested in a public or huge proposal but something more low key and personal/meaningful to us. One Friday night I walked up the 4 flights of stairs to our apartment after work and found Joe on one knee in front of our table with candles and an amazing homemade dinner (that we were then too excited to sit and eat).”
Wedding Planning Experience:
“Working with the Barn on Bridge made everything pretty straight forward and easy. They had a list of suggested vendors and we chose our favorites from the list. We loved working with the vendors that we selected. Everyone was very friendly, good with emails, timely responses and supportive of our wants and visions.”
Wedding Inspiration:
“I always wanted an outdoor Fall wedding. The idea of warm Fall colors, lighting, soup and hot coco was my dream. The Barn had all of that and more to offer, the Enchanted Florist created the beautiful bouquets consisting of sticks and Fall flowers, the Master Baker created the perfect Fall naked cake, and Bartlett Pair Photography captured all the colors, smiles and amazing moments of the day.”
Wedding Planning Advice:
“Divide up and help each other with the tasks. I never felt completely overwhelmed because I never felt alone in planning.”
Best Wedding Memory:
“There was one moment where Joe and I got to stand still on the dance floor and look around at all of our friends and family that were dancing and having an amazing time. We knew how special and rare it is to have all of the people you love in one space to celebrate our partnership. We literally stood still holding hands and said to each other that we need to always remember this exact moment.”

It is crazy that on your wedding day you can just show up and not worry about all of the little things.
