How They Met:
“Rob and I met at work, way back in June 2008. We started off as just co-workers, and eventually began spending time together outside of work with our other officemates. We bonded over being hometown Phillies and Eagles fanatics, and a shared sense of (sarcastic) humor. After nearly two years of office friendship, Rob took me on our first date, (fittingly) to a Phillies game, and we’ve been together ever since!”
“What I love most about Rob is his honesty, and his sense of humor — I think one of the biggest and best things we have in common. He also calms me down when I stress out over the little things; he’s always there to keep me grounded.”
The Proposal:
“Since we started dating, our summer vacation place has been Ocean City, MD, at Rob’s family’s house. We’ve spent just about every summer holiday there since we started dating and it’s hands-down our favorite go-to vacation spot. So, it made the perfect setting for deciding to spend the rest of their lives together – Rob officially popped the question on Labor Day Weekend 2015! Of all the trips we’ve taken to OCMD, that one was of course the most unforgettable.”
Engagement Session Inspiration:
“Our love of all things Philly! When I found out couples could do wedding/engagement photos in the ballpark, it just seemed absolutely perfect for us as huge Phillies (and Philly sports) fans — and it was where we had our first date! I even had the ticket stub from that game back in 2010 (I save everything). I’m so thrilled we were able to make it happen.”
Wedding Planning Experience:
“My wedding planning involved an amazing team of bridesmaids, super helpful vendors when I felt clueless, and a massive color-coded Google doc — and I couldn’t have done it without any of them! Rob was very supportive throughout the whole process and wanted me to have the wedding of my dreams. Our wedding day was incredible and made everything completely worth it.”
