How They Met:
“Dee and I met on our undergraduate college campus, the University of Colorado. He was an engineering tutor and I tutored organic chemistry. Through that commonality, we were able to develop a friendship that gradually progressed into a loving relationship.”
“Dee is loving, kind and very laid back. He has a great personality and is able to make friends anywhere he goes. He makes everyone around him feel welcomed and valued. He is also very hardworking and driven. He constantly sets goals for the future and challenges himself to do more and to be better. I love him so much because he helps to instill those same values in me and pushes me to operate at my best on a daily basis. Honestly, he is the total package, a man in the full sense of the word. I am truly lucky to call him mine.”
The Proposal:
“Dee proposed on the day I graduated with my Master’s degree in Public Health. He waited until the festivities of the day commenced and for us to be alone. I had joked with him about not getting me a graduation present and when I turned around he was on one knee asking me to be his wife. He had given me the ultimate gift and of course, I said yes!”
“After moving to Philadelphia, we have fallen in love with the city. To celebrate our love we wanted to display the beauty of Philly by choosing one of the most historic sites at the heart of it all. We thought Philadelphia’s City Hall was the perfect place.”
Wedding Planning:
“We are halfway through planning the wedding, so far it hasn’t been too bad. This is partly because we have chosen an all-inclusive venue. We don’t have to search for vendors or contact 10 different businesses, instead, we coordinate everything through one agency. Getting the guest list together has been the hardest part of planning. When you have a limit on the amount of guest you can invite it is impossible to make everyone happy.”
Engagement Session Experience:
“Our experience with Jeannie from Lytle Photo Co. was amazing! We had an appointment set up with another photographer who ended up canceling last minute. Ever since we found Jeannie she has been incredibly accommodating with our limited timeline and busy schedule.
