Nick and Kelly Photography were behind the lens to capture this blissful engagement session in the Fairmount Park section of Philadelphia. How They Met:
“We met during our last semester of college at Penn State through a mutual friend.”
“Adam makes me a better person. He is my rock and we balance each other out. He is also the most generous and thoughtful person I know. I can mention some small thing and he will remember it months later.”
The Proposal:
“Adam bought me tickets to see La Boheme at the Met for our 5th anniversary. The Met is one of my favorite places. After the opera, we had drinks across the street and then went back to the theater to take pictures at the fountain which was all lit up. When we were at the fountain, he told me he loved me and that his life is so much better with me in it. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.”
Engagement Session Inspiration:
“We love the Art Museum and Waterworks area and knew that it would be the perfect spot for pictures. I didn’t really research inspiration photos prior to the shoot. After our first conversation with Nick and Kelly, our photographers, we felt comfortable to just take their advice and roll with it. The pictures came out great so we made the right choice.”
Wedding Planning Experience:
“I started wedding planning fairly soon after our engagement. I am probably about 90% done. We are using Cescaphe Events Group for the reception, and they made it super easy to plan and coordinate everything. Our wedding is in late April of next year and the last big decision I have to make is picking the bridesmaid dresses. All of my vendors have been very helpful. I hope that having everything pretty much set this far in advance will cut down on the stress closer to the date. But realistically I know there will still be a little bit of stress closer to the date.”
Engagement Session Experience:
“Working with Nick and Kelly was fantastic. They were fun and had great ideas about where to take the pictures. We loved how the engagement photos came out and can’t wait to work with them again at our wedding.”
