Intimacy is just an understatement when it comes to this romantic home engagement session. Morgan Ellis Photography got up close and personal with this lovely couple as they took photographs in the comfort of their home. Due to the gloomy weather that day, Joe and Gianna decided to stay in for their shoot, which resulted in heartfelt cozy vibes. This couple seemingly shares a proximity of love, and their feature below depicts an enchanting tale of their authentic relationship.
From the Photographer, Morgan Ellis: “This engagement session was shot in the couples home, about ten minutes outside of Philadelphia. Joe and Gianna got engaged in December and although we love Philly, the morning of their shoot was a dreary one and we opted to stay inside their cozy home! I moved from Alaska to Old City Philly this past September and couldn’t be more in love with this city.”
How They Met:
“We met at our job working at a golf course! On my first day, Joe happened to be the first face that greeted me at the door. He seemed super down to earth and easy to talk to right off the bat.”
What Do You Love Most About Your Partner:
“Ahh..that is a tough one to choose because he has so many good qualities that I admire. I’d have to say – aside from his good looks, of course – I love that he has such a big heart, and is such a positive person all the time. He is genuinely such a sweet guy, and always encourages me to see the good in every situation.”
The Proposal:
“He proposed this past December right before Christmas! We drove to Cape May one Friday night to visit the Christmas Village at Congress Hall (seriously, so beautiful) and he proposed outside in front of the Christmas tree!”
Engagement Session Inspiration:
“I just wanted our engagement session to be relaxed and laid back, but still beautiful, and definitely something we could always have as a special keepsake. It was cool that we ended up shooting our photos in our first home together, so it just makes them that much more special! Morgan is super talented, and really made us feel comfortable right from the start.”
Wedding Planning Experience:
“We started planning but nothing too major yet. We have a pretty specific vision for our wedding day, so it has definitely been fun searching for the perfect venue (still on the hunt..any suggestions?) So far the experience has been pretty laid back and fun. We aren’t big planners so having to actually sit down, and plan out the biggest party we’ve ever thrown can be a little stressful. Luckily, Joe has been a big help, and doesn’t mind the planning at all so that makes it easier!”
Engagement Session Experience:
“We loved having Morgan come into our home, and hang out with us! She is so easy to talk to and definitely made us feel like super models!”
