Jess and Jeff’s Charming Rustic Wedding by Aubert Films

Aubert Films had the pleasure of filming Jess and Jeff’s matrimony at the Philadelphia Horticulture Center. The young couple radiated with joy as they celebrated their big day. The Bride’s unique wedding gown is one of the most exquisite dresses I’ve ever seen; the heart shaped open back with pearl buttons is a combination of sexy and classy! The groom looked oh-so handsome in his Marine uniform; a wonderful patriotic choice. It complemented Jess’ dress and served as a symbol of his honor and loyalty. It appears that the Horticulture Center was the inspiration behind the decor, it all blends in well with the natural surroundings. Don’t hesitate to pore over these pleasant still images captured by the skilled film makers at Aubert Films, and keep scrolling to watch the full sneak peek trailer!

Jess was a freshman at Methacton when Jeff was a senior.  They were in the same study hall, but Jeff spent most of his time sleeping–although they did play a couple of hands of poker with mutual friends on some days.  After Jeff graduated and went to boot camp and job training, Jess and Jeff ended up at the same New Years Eve party.  Jess was a sophomore, and Jeff had a girlfriend.  Jess still remembers sitting across the room from Jeff at the party, taking discrete pictures of “the hot guy” while giggling with her friend.  A couple months later, a mutual friend asked Jess if she would want to hang out with Jeff and bring along one of her friends.  They went to a Chinese food buffet and saw Million Dollar Baby, and from that moment on, the rest is history.

From the Bride: We were going for a rustic, vintage, elegant look. Stargazer lilies are Jeff and my flower (they are the first flower that he ever gave me and they continue to be my favorite) so they were the focal point. Their color was also our main color.  Blue is Jeff’s favorite color, and also the color of his blues. Therefore, we chose blue and pink as our colors and had the guys wear blue tuxes and the girls wear blue dresses. Even our dog, the ring bearer, had a blue tux collar! We also just wanted everyone to have fun and enjoy the music and the food and drinks!  Everything came together so well in the end, and it’s really all thanks to my mom and Jeff’s mom who handled basically all of the decorations. The Horticulture Center was an absolutely incredible venue. It is such a magical looking place during both the daytime and especially the nighttime. Also, working with Leila was great and I would highly recommend her, her team, and the venue. Planning the wedding was quite an endeavor. There were ups and downs, and some lulls. Overall it went smoothly, but because Jeff and I live in DC, we had to do a lot of things online and over the phone, which isn’t as fun! We also did travel A LOT to the Philly area, which made things exhausting at times, but overall it was an amazing experience and I wouldn’t trade it one bit. It gave us a chance to work on an amazing project with our moms and gave us an excuse to travel back to see family.
