The Mann Center (Fairmount) – link

One coolest things about The Mann Center is that everyone has seen “that one concert” that they will always remember there. For us, it was Sigor Ros when they were on their first US tour, epic! So when we heard you can now have your wedding at The Mann, we got so excited! Couples can hold their ceremony on the actual Mann stage and then hold their tented reception overlooking the Philadelphia skyline, it’s really something special. Adding in the fact that The Mann offers only a handful of available dates each year makes this venue one of the most unique.

Power Plant Productions (Old City, Philadelphia) – link

Located in Old City, just past the Ben Franklin Bridge on 2nd street, Power Plant Productions is truly a unique event venue in Philadelphia. Urban, yet unconventional, the studio occupies the former Wilbur Chocolate Factory that still has its historic smokestack. The building retains much of the industrial feel from this early 1900’s power plant, with its steel beams, huge industrial windows, diagonal hardwood floors, 25-foot ceiling, and exposed brick walls. Power Plant productions is the perfect small-wedding space for couples looking to marry in the Old City area.

23rd Street Armory (Philadelphia) – link

Raw industrial at its best! This space is absolutely massive – it can fit 1,000 people, so you can invite your family, friends, plus their family and friends, and every rando you know. This space is best when paired with an outdoor ceremony spot (pop-up wedding, anyone?) and a team of vendors with a vision. When styled properly, it’s dreamy and spacious, and has a few smaller classic-looking rooms for your getting ready suite or back-up ceremony location.

Nestled in one of the city’s prettiest neighborhoods, Old City, is the Physick House. It’s great for small, mellow weddings – it fits up to 100 people, and there’s a strict noise ordinance after 9pm. Bok (South Philadelphia) – link

By far, Bok is one of the more unique venues that Philly has to offer. It’s an old vocation school that takes up an entire block. It’s been revived into offices, workspaces, a thriving rooftop bar, and a space for events small and large. The auditorium, featured in these photos, is great for ceremonies or for intimate dinner receptions. There’s a gymnasium that can be transformed into a quirky couple’s dream setting, and a workshop that’s straight out of your Anthropologie dreams. They also do ceremonies up on the roof during select hours, so you can make the most of the absolute stunner of a view.
