Romantic Rose Quartz Wedding at The Manor House at Commonwealth by Isabel March Photography

I have been eagerly waiting for this special moment, one of our favorite couples Kelly and Brendan tied the knot this past Fall! We’re so excited to share their lovely wedding photos, following their awesome Philadelphia engagement session. All of the life, love, and laughter filled throughout this memorable day was captured beautifully by Isabel March. I love the delightful details from the gorgeous rose bouquets, the stunning Jim Hjelm bridesmaids dresses, and the “Jimmie” covered wedding cake. Congratulations K+B, you two rule & we wish you both the best!

From the Bride: “As long as Brendan had his bow tie and cigars he was a happy guy; he left the “inspiration” part to me. I definitely wasn’t a bride with a theme but I did want it to be romantic and personal. We found the perfect venue; a large farmhouse that allowed us to decorate each room like it was our own house. We got to put tons of pictures and personal touches everywhere and I had a lot of fun with DIY projects. My dress was my inspiration for everything else. It was a beautiful lace dress with a peach underlay; it felt so girly and romantic. It inspired me to choose burgundy dresses for my beautiful bridesmaids with tones of peach and ivory. The florist made stunning centerpieces and our DJ made the room feel like you were sitting at a romantic candlelit dinner with amber uplighting (until party time of course!). Dream come true!”

“I think like most couples it was a little bit of a roller coaster. We had a lot of ups and downs but everything was worth it. There will always be things you wish you did differently. After 10 months centered around planning the wedding we were so happy to have had the perfect day and just as happy to move on to start our lives together.”

From the Groom: “It’s almost impossible to solidify just one moment from such an incredible day filled with unforgettable memories. However, if you are asking me for just one memory, for me, it was watching Kelly come down the aisle. It’s really at that point you realize, “Wow, this is it, I’m getting married.” To see your future wife walking towards you in her beautiful dress and knowing that this is the most important moment in your relationship is pretty overwhelming.”

From the Bride: “The entire day was full of amazing moments, but this one is easy for me. Our first dance is my favorite moment from our wedding. As soon as our song came on everything went away and it felt like we were alone in the room. Brendan just looked so happy to be right there in that moment with me. He looked only at me and held me as tight as he could. I can still hear him singing our song in my ear. We have had a running joke that every time we slow dance (usually in the kitchen) I always ask “spin me, dip me!” Well he did, in a beautiful dress, on our wedding day.  It’s a feeling I will never forget.”

“Take time for each other in the process and do things not wedding related (date nights!). Learn to laugh when the little things go wrong. They aren’t worth your stress and no one will notice anyways. Don’t be afraid to ask for help! You chose your closest girlfriends to be bridesmaids for a reason and they all have your back. Between them and your moms you’re never alone. Don’t forget the day is about you and your partner. You can’t please everyone and you deserve the day you’ve always dreamt of. And most importantly, breathe and ENJOY THE MOMENT. So many people told us this and it couldn’t be more true. Stop every once in a while, look at how happy your husband/wife is, look around at your family and friends, and just soak it in. It’s a once in a lifetime day.”
