Abby and Paul are totally adorable! Watch these two take the rich and colorful streets of Philly by storm. The graffiti backdrop adds a colorful twist to the engagement shoot and captures a prominent and artistic element of Philadelphia. The awesome images photographed by Sarah B Photography embody all the different charms of Abby and Paul with complementary, contrasting and alluring backdrops. I really cherish the smiles this couple shares with each other, and you can tell they are head over heels in love!
From the Photographer: The day of the engagement session, we were originally set to go to Baltimore and shoot around inner harbor. That was one of the days that the crazy insane riots were happening in Baltimore! So we definitely needed to find somewhere else to shoot. so that morning I was on the phone with Abby and I said hey, why don’t we just shoot in Philly? (plus my best friend lives in Manayunk so i figured i could see her too while i was out there) 🙂 So I originally wanted to walk around and explore different areas BUT then I realized that my friend had posted a photo of this super cool graffiti setting the day before, so I asked him where it was! So I looked it up on the map and BOOM I found where it was! We parked nearby, walked towards the location and followed a trail towards the river which brings you to this fallen down ruins that used to be there years and years ago. Now, artists have turned this area into a piece of art! It’s flipping gorgeous! Graffiti everywhere. its kind of eerie, but it is so worth it.
From there, Paul-Michael wanted to go to the LOVE sign. So we grabbed a few shots there and then headed to Manayunk to just explore!
Abby and Paul’s wedding is this November, and what I think is super cool is that their wedding will be full of color, there will be Puerto Rican traditions as well! I felt like the graffiti really ended up tying in with the overall theme of their wedding! 🙂
