Avalon Beach Wedding at Icona Golden Inn

Elizabeth and Mike’s beach wedding was befittingly set at Icona Golden Inn nestled in Avalon, New Jersey.  This couple took inspiration from the sea and combined elements of sand, anchors, and seashells into their details.  They danced the night away to tunes from the Sid Miller Band and completed the night with a sparkler send off.  In the end, this was a magical day for an extraordinary couple, and their inspiring wedding was captured perfectly by Heidi Roland Photography.

Their Jersey shore wedding landed on the perfect beach day, and the sun was shining brightly on Elizabeth and Mike’s special day. Elizabeth’s bridesmaids sported floral rompers as they were getting ready, sipping champagne and sharing laughs. I love seeing these unique touches. I adored Elizabeth’s wedding dress and just can’t get enough of her shoes! Did I mention her shoes? The Icona Golden Inn in Avalon, New Jersey set the stage for the joyful and seamless day. They had wonderful nautical details from their invitations, to the groomsmen’s ties and the guests favors. So many cute touches that tied the day together. There is something so magical about the ocean and to be nestled by the sea on this momentous occasion seemed fitting. We were able to take some bridal portraits on the beach. Nothing better than to be barefoot in the sand on your wedding day! They toasted and danced with friends and family. The bride and groom ended their night with a fun sparkler exit and then onto the beach bar for more celebrating! These two created memories to last a lifetime on their wedding day. “Our venue was on the beach in Avalon, NJ. Our goal was for our guests to have a mini vacation (enjoying the beach and shore town) and not have to travel far to get there. Many guests stayed in the hotel at the venue, so it was perfect.”
