You can call it destiny or divine intervention when two people are meant to be. That’s exactly what happened with Abigail and Jeremy. It was only after many years and a series of life changing events that love could finally unite them together.

How They Met
“Jeremy and I met when I was a teenager through church camp. We didn’t know each other well he was 7 older than me. He and my mom got close when they both endured cancer treatments at the same time. From then on, he was very close to my family, but we wouldn’t see each other romantically until many years later when God brought us together.”

The Proposal
“Jeremy brought me to a park bench on the river where we had first begun openly discussing in detail the possibility of a relationship. He was my first boyfriend so I was anxious, but he comforted me by reading me verses from the Bible. So that’s the spot he took me to ask me to be his wife!”

Wedding Planning
“I had a fun experience planning my wedding because I have a wonderful mom and the best-est best friends who’d been dreaming about this day with me for such a long time. From dress shopping to color palette over-analyzing, my friends and family were there for me to help me bring my dreams to life!”

Willow Springs Estates
“Our venue is called Willow Springs estates, and it’s more beautiful than anything I could have pictured myself! It’s a quarry in Central Pennsylvania with teal blue water, and it’s swarming with weeping willow trees. The pavilion where the reception took place reminded me of a castle – it looked like a fairy-tale, how could I not get married there!”

Wedding Inspiration

Best Moment
“Actually I have two favorite parts of my wedding day (Sorry I can’t decide!) The first one was when I got to the end of the aisle, Jeremy mouthed “hi” to me and it made me smile so much. Then, during one of the slow dances at the reception, he picked me up and spun me during the orchestral swell of the song and it was absolutely magical.”

Wedding Planing Advice
“Don’t get lost in the sauce! Remember this day is about two hearts becoming one. All the other gunk is just for fun. It will be special no matter what, so let go of the craving for perfection :)”

Vendors
“I loved my vendors. I really didn’t want to be a bridezilla, and everyone was so nice and receptive to my vision. I approached them all as if making new friends (and some of them were already friends) and I think that bred an intimacy and comfort-ability that was a win-win for all parties.”
