How They Met:
Chris: “We met in college. We were both animal science majors. Teresa was studying pre-veterinary medicine and I was studying exotics. I was doodling pictures of dinosaurs in my notebook one day when she leaned over behind me and whispered: “Is that a Pachycephalosaurus?” (which it was) and I knew I was in love. We didn’t start dating until years later, however. We were good friends for a long time at first.”
Chris: “Teresa is extremely strong and brave. I have seen her not just endure, but conquer challenges that would crush most people. She’s very honest about her feelings. If she likes something, she says it. If she doesn’t, she says it. It is a respectable quality that is rare in most people. At the same time, she is extremely caring. She frequently goes out of her way to take care of people or make kind gestures “just because.” Finally, I love her sense of humor. We both find the same weird things hilarious.”
Teresa: “I love how he always manages to stay positive and make the best of any situation that may be less than ideal. He is always able to put things in perspective and look on the bright side of life. I love how he can always make me laugh no matter what. I can have the worst day and within minutes of getting home, he’ll have me cracking up to the point where I am crying laughing and can barely breathe. He is also very kind and is always looking out for others.”
