We love a good proposal story, and this surprise proposal will definitely put a smile on your face! Angelina Minger, Juan and Heather’s chosen photographer, caught the dreamy and exciting moment atop the Art Museum stairs in all its beauty. Philadelphia’s appealing architecture and charm is highlighted through the skillfully captured images. Juan and Heather are so lucky to have photographs to recollect such a precious moment, in the city where they fell in love, forever. Take a gander at the couple’s romantic day below.
From the Photographer: “Juan and Heather are college sweethearts. They met and fell in love while attending Philadelphia University. Since graduating they moved across country to California to build their life together. Juan always knew he would marry Heather and he wanted nothing more than to propose in the city where their love was established, overlooking the iconic City Hall/Philadelphia Skyline and at the top of the Art Museum steps. They were in town for a friend’s wedding and Heather had no idea that Juan would propose. It was a gorgeous June morning and they decided to go for a walk around the city. Once they reached the top of the Art Museum steps, Juan dropped to one knee to ask for Heather’s hand. She more than happily accepted! Both of them were just glowing and completely elated! From there we captured some sweet moments of them together, in love, in the city of Brotherly love.”
