Coral and Navy Wedding at St. Joseph’s University by MLE Pictures
Behold, a love story that generated 8 years ago, and remarkably lead two beautiful souls into marriage! Juli and Matt are the perfect idea of high school sweet-hearts, and we think these two are undeniably adorable! MLE Pictures was the brilliant talent behind the lens, capturing every bit of detail, and of course all of the love exhibited between the lovely couple on their wedding day. The beautiful bride Juli, is a St. Joseph’s alumni, so it only makes sense that their ceremony was held at The Chapel at St. Joseph’s University, which served as a lovely backdrop to the joining of this union. The amazing color combination, coral + navy are simply a divine match that illuminated this joyous day, and its pairing served for some pretty awesome florals and decor that is absolutely adoring!
From the Bride
How they met: “We are high school sweethearts! We went to Unionville High School in Chester County and met through mutual friends. We started dating right before our Junior Prom and have been together since! Fun fact – Matt’s parents are also high school sweethearts.”
How he proposed: “He surprised me under the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. After college, I moved to Manhattan for a job, and Matt used to visit me on the weekends. We would spend Saturdays walking from my apartment in midtown to go window shopping! I’ve since moved back to Philly, but NYC will also be a special spot for us.”
“Walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing Matt and all our friends and family that had traveled from all over the country to support us was pretty special. This may be the only time in your life when all of the most important people are in the same room to celebrate with you.”
“Matt and I are the first of our friends and cousins to get married, so I really had NO IDEA what I was doing! That also made it somewhat easier – since we had nothing to compare to, we just did what felt right without the pressure of living up to other weddings.”
Wedding Planning Advice: “Remember what this day is all about – you and your future spouse. Don’t focus too much on what other people want or expect, and remember to take time out during the craziness for just the two of you!
One other nugget! We had our wedding at SJU, despite the fact that Matt is a Temple grad! Our priest waited until the end of the wedding ceremony to remind him that the Hawks beat the Owls in basketball last season – he got a good laugh after this comment :)”
