How They Met:
“Mike and I met in the beginning of high school, about 14 years ago! We were very close friends and about 6 years into being “just friends” we decided to give dating a shot and here we are almost 9 years later :)”
What Do You Love Most About Him:
“I would have to say his whole personality. Where I lack, he compensates and vice versa. He is the ying to my yang. We just work. I could not imagine being with anyone else.”
The Proposal:
“I have been a runner for most of my life, running in the Broad Street Run and other Philadelphia Half Marathons for years and Mike has always been my cheerleader on the side lines. When I completed the Philly Rock n’ Roll Half Marathon 10/31/15, he was there at the finish on the the Art Museum steps. It was there that he got down on one knee and proposed! I was completely surprised! It was one of the happiest moments we have shared :)”

“We thought what better location than the place he proposed, The Art Museum and Waterworks! Plus, what a beautiful backdrop with the fall season in Philadelphia.”

“Krista Patton has covered many couples we know. Over the years I couldn’t help but gush over the beautiful work she has done, so when it came time for us to choose a photographer it was really a no brainer. I have to admit I was a little nervous for the engagement session, its not everyday you get professionally photographed with your fiancé! However, Krista made us feel so comfortable and like ourselves and I must say I think this shines through in the photos. We have received so many compliments over them! We can’t wait for Krista to capture our BIG day this October!”
