Magdalena Kernan captured the beauty of this couples’ wedding bliss in their lovely couple portraits. Fontini and Pete were unfulfilled with their couple portraits from their wedding, so they decided to retake them in Philadelphia to relive their amazing wedding joy. This lovely duo, and their photographer, Magdalena Kernan adventured to some very scenic locations in Philly, including the Fairmount Water Works for a pleasant view of the sunset near the end of their journey. These beautiful photos show that sometimes things are better the second time around!
The Proposal:
The Wedding:
“We got married on May 9, 2015. We were engaged for a year and half. Our families are Greek, so we had a traditional Greek wedding with over 250 people. The planning for such a big wedding was pretty stressful.
The day of the wedding I did feel overwhelmed starting out the day. Once we were married in the church and on our way to our reception in the limo I felt so much more relaxed and calm.”
Wedding Planning Advice:
The wedding photographer we had didn’t really do a great job capturing just the two of us on the day of the wedding. After the wedding we decided to get dressed up again, go to some of our favorite spots in Philly, and spend a couple hours with no distractions to take pictures of just the two of us. I am so happy we thought to do this. The pictures are wonderful and I recommend it to everyone!”
