From the Bride: “My husband and I met while attending Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. We met through mutual friends but did not begin dating until a year after initially meeting. I was sitting in a geography class and in walked David. He came and sat down beside me and we spent the first part of class catching up and chatting. David and I made the decision to share a book and study together. Little did we know, we became study buddies with our future spouses.”
“David and I decided to move in together and signed a lease on our first apartment in West Chester. It was in this apartment that the most unforgettable proposal happened.
“Hands down, the best memory of our wedding day was the walk down the aisle. It sounds cliche, but it is the truth! David surprised me with a string trio, to play the bridal party and myself down the aisle. Hearing Cannon in D played live, with my father beside me, walking to the love of my life. There are no words to describe that feeling. It all happened so fast, but it is something that I will never forget.”
“I absolutely loved the wedding planning process. David was great at letting me run with my ideas. We still joke that I did all of the planning and he just needed to know when to show up. I like to argue that though! We toured so many places and interviewed several vendors. Ultimately, we chose who we were most comfortable with. We had a year and a half to plan the wedding so we had plenty of time. Once we took care of the big items ( venue, DJ, florist) we were able to put our personality into the smaller details of the wedding. Our venue provided a coordinator which helped alleviate so much stress by keeping us on track and helping us in any way that we needed. We included our families in the process of venue tours and tastings because we really value their opinions. It was so nice to get the families together for these events so that they could get to know each other even more.”
