Sweet, love, and romance are the first words that came to mind when I first laid eyes upon Kate and Bernie’s lovely engagement photos. We Laugh We Love Photography certainly captured all the laughter and love that is pouring through this session, and their talent behind the camera is simply brilliant. Kate and Bernie are oh-so-cute together, Kate is beaming in her playful pretty pink ensemble, and we think these two are arguably the cutest couple ever! We’re so excited to share such an insanely gorgeous couple with an awesome Philadelphia love story!
From the Bride-to-be: “We met through a college friend, a few years back one Sunday while out in Rittenhouse watching a Phillies game (Sunday fundays were frequent for my friends and I at that time). It wasn’t meant to be a set-up- as our friends didn’t even think we would get along! But we quickly hit it off and a week later Bernie called to ask me out on a date the old fashioned way. Our first date was our favorite food, sushi, but I remember we barely ate because we were talking so much- it was instant chemistry. A month later, in the same place where we met watching the Phillies, Bernie asked me to be his girlfriend, and the rest was history.”
“For our engagement session we wanted the photos to be in areas of the city that were very ‘us.’ We frequently visit Old City and fell in love with some of the cobblestone streets and local pubs there, so figured this would be an excellent backdrop to represent our engagement. We ended our session at sunset on Addison Street in Rittenhouse- the same spot where we got engaged. In our opinion it’s one of the most romantic streets in the city and we were fortunate to arrive there for our photos at just the perfect time of day, where the tree lights were visible but there was still ample sunlight. Our photographer, Justin Muir, was so talented and excellent at capturing light at just the right angles which made for an excellent shoot. We had a blast with him that day, which definitively shows through in our pictures!”
