Romantic Wedding at Loews Philadelphia Hotel

“We met on the first day of my new job right after my high school graduation. Francis can still remember when I walked in for my first shift to start my training & exactly what I was wearing. He was such a charmer that day; he came over to introduce himself and asking if training was going well. He definitely left a good impression.”

“When I do the dishes in our kitchen Francis typically comes from behind me to kiss my neck or tickle me at my sides as I’m facing our kitchen sink window, this one particular summer evening after we indulged in some of his amazing non-rush meal, I was washing the dishes and I noticed he was tickling me on a lower part of my body which wasn’t the normal spots he always grabs, I looked back and there we has on one knee professing his love & asking me to be his wife for life.”

“Planning the wedding was fairly a breeze; I believe it was because we wanted to be engaged over a year. Which allowed plenty of time to brainstorm, set a budget and that also allowed us to accumulate a budget and set a schedule to accomplish all that needed to be completed in a timely, non-rush matter.”

“We got married at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia. We chose the venue for many reasons.  One in particular, we knew that my family from Italy would be attending our wedding and we wanted to allow them the opportunity to experience & see America. See America in one of the most patriotic cities in PA. We decided on July 4th weekend to celebrate the birth of America and show how much we love our country in the city that we fell in love and grew our love for one another. We wanted to be able to keep everyone together in one establishment for the entire weekend since we normally don’t get to see each other very often due to the miles and miles between us. Loews accommodated us for the entire weekend with plenty of rooms, events and cheerful smiles.”

“Our inspiration for the wedding was quiet simple; I wanted our wedding to represent us. We are two people who enjoy great food, good spirits, and warm-hearted people. And that was our intent. The wedding really didn’t have a theme per say; I’m the type of woman who beats to her own drum and does whatever brings joy to my heart. I wanted the wedding to represent the love that Fran and I have been cultivating for 13 years, and we wanted to celebrate it with the people who have supported us from the beginning.”

“All our vendors were phenomenal. But maybe because I’m a wedding vendor as well so I knew what entailed that I kept a low profile and allowed my vendors to run with it and we were along for the ride. They executed their job beyond my expectations.”
