It’s still blazing hot in Philly so far but here’s a beautiful winter Real Wedding that’s sure to cool you down! We love winter weddings here at Philly in Love, especially winter weddings that evoke the feeling of coziness and warmth. Wintery details of plaid, pine cones, and garlands are beautifully and subtlety carried out throughout and we absolutely love the hints of winter and the holidays. But what makes this a truly wonderful wedding is of course the joy and love radiating from Ali and Jordan and their family and friends! Thank you Rebecca Richman Events for sharing this beautiful Philly wedding with us!
Ali and Jordan were married in a beautiful winter wedding ceremony at St. John Vianney Church in Gladwyne. This was Ali’s family church and was the perfect setting for her traditional ceremony. She incorporated blue and plaid details in both the styling of the girls, the accessories and the groomsmen attire. The boutonnieres even had plaid stem wraps! Their wedding celebration continued as they were whisked away in their Rolls Royce to the Union League of Philadelphia. I love the League this time of year, there were already beautiful Christmas decorations out on many of the mantles and staircases but Petals Lane continued with the theme in the reception space using pinecones, candles, and baby’s breath on the centerpieces and mantle pieces. Guests danced the night away to the tunes of the Sunday James band and were greeting at the end of the night with Mr. and Mrs. Gingerbread-men.
