St. Patrick’s Day is drawing near, and we couldn’t help but swoon over Krissy and Eddie’s take on a St. Patty’s Day wedding! Befittingly set at Cairnwood Estate, this couple incorporated subtle touches of green in an elegantly refined way. From the Bride’s shoes to the plaid ties for the guys this day was nothing short of pure holiday spirit. If you think that’s exciting wait until you see the adorable shamrock cake by Ciao Bella! “My dress wasn’t what I originally envisioned for myself but once I tried it on, I fell in love with it! I went with a satin strapless mermaid style with beading and lace embellishments. I wanted a little green in my outfit so I went with green shoes that matched the bridesmaid dresses. My necklace covered my something old and something blue. I wore my mother’s pearls accented with a sapphire pendant. I borrowed my veil and a hair pendant from two of my dearest friends. My dress and my shoes were new!”
“We went with green and lavender for our wedding colors. These colors happen to be two of our favorites! We chose green because we wanted to incorporate some St. Patty’s Day elements into our March 17th wedding day. We picked lavender as the accent color because it pairs well with green.”

“Try to enjoy wedding planning! It feels stressful at times, but it goes by quickly and it is very easy to get caught up in the little details.”
“The catering was one of the most important aspects of our wedding to us. We always envisioned a station style meal so that guests could have a little bit of everything rather than picking one option. It was important to us for our guests to have an amazing time!”
“Our cake was one of our favorite parts of our wedding. We picked a four-tier vanilla cake with white frosting decorated with lavender flowers and green shamrocks. Our cake topper was handmade by a friend of ours. The cake is sadly gone, but our cake toppers will decorate our house for years to come!”
