3 Ways To Style Your Barn Wedding
Barn weddings have a certain rustic charm that is obtained from the natural setting and the ethereal details that elevate the space. As one of the trending themes for weddings, the farmhouse style is ever-so-popular with brides, and there are endless ways to make your special day unique! Sensational Host Caterers envisioned three contrasting styles that will inspire anyone who loves the idea of a vintage barn venue. From modern meets barn-yard chic to a colorful, festive occasion this stylized wedding inspiration is sure to inspire.
From the Event Planner, Chelsea Schnell: “The main focus of the editorial shoot was to feature that brides in 2019 don’t have to stick with lace runners, mason jars and wooden stumps. A barn venue can be molded to each personality and doesn’t have to scream and shout you are in a barn! We used Johnson’s Locust Hall Farms to show just that! We created three separate wedding themes with décor, design, bridal gowns, hair, and food!”
Clean and Unstructured Greens
“The idea of this bride was to show that even the modern bride can fit into a farm venue with clean, bright whites, crisp dark greens. Modern clear menus with textured linen napkins. A quaint floral hung above the sweetheart table and the bride is featured in a classic gown while channeling Megan Markel’s long veil. The Bride is your next door all American girl; she sits on the swing with her dog beside her ready to make her way down the aisle as she becomes an MRS. Our favorite photos are where she is being photographed under her veil, getting ready shots in the bridal suite and running in the rye!”
“Micro Weddings are on the rise so we wanted to show how you can have fun and still keep it chic! Backyard picnic features family-style seating at picnic tables! The tables are adorned with apple crates filled with fresh produce right from Johnson’s farm! Farm to table action is what everyone wants now! Our menu is less than 500 feet away! The food photos were designed to fit the outdoor theme with fresh produce and a ladder adorned with roasted vegetables. A Tuscany taste in your own backyard of Jersey! The backyard picnic bride wore a lace gown and rocked cowboy boots! She walked around with Penelope the pony and greeted her guests! She was caught with her groom in between the apple orchids sharing an intimate moment! Our favorite shots are everyone around the table enjoying the wooden burned charcuterie board and the ones where she is with Penelope.”
“This bride isn’t scared of color! This is a wedding mixed with a festival; think Bonnaroo meets barn wedding! We wanted to have fun and show how different colors and textures work! We utilized the vintage furniture Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm have onsite! We created a good vibes only area for guests to mix and mingle while the tables were adorned with high and low taper candles and fun greens danced around the plates! This bride was fun in an extra large bell sleeve crochet gown! She rocked wild hair and bare feet. We loved the shots of her with Penelope and loved her running through the fields! Her silhouette is beautiful!”
