How They Met:
“We met on a party bus brought together by our mutual friends. Justin was extremely funny and we partied together the entire night. After the party bus, we remained friends and would check in with each other occasionally. At one point, we lost contact with each other but were reunited at a nightclub in NYC. As soon as I walked in, Justin locked eyes with me and the rest is history.”
Justin: “Aisha is my best-friend, my lover, career coach, and constant companion. She makes me feel super-human! I can contribute some of my success to Aisha because she has been my constant cheerleader and my biggest fan. What I love the most are her passion for life and authentic personality. Finally, let’s be honest she is really cute!”
Aisha: “I always joke around with my friends and tell them that I have a real life superman! What I love about Justin is that he is completely fearless and simply does not have the capacity to worry about things out of his control (a technique I still have not learned). He is one of the most positive people that I know and always finds the good in the bad. But most importantly Justin is my bestie, my lover, therapist, and travel buddy. He treats me as if I am the Queen of the world.”
The Proposal:
“Justin and I planned a trip to the Maldives and Dubai last March. Our first stop was the Maldives and Justin was acting extremely strange the first 3 days of our trip. On our last night in the Maldives Justin and I watched the sunset from our over-water bungalow when he decided to get on one knee and pop the question. I literally fainted (well almost)! I was so excited and in shock that I could not stop shaking; when he tried to put the ring on my finger it dropped and almost fell into the Indian Ocean. During the rest of the trip, I could not stop smiling and of course looking at the beautiful ring on my finger.”
“Justin is a Philly native and I am an avid lover of the architecture and scenery in downtown Philadelphia. We wanted our engagement pictures to reflect the sites we love in Philly and our personalities.”
Wedding Planning:
“We are getting married this September so we have hit the climax of planning. The experience has been great and has actually brought Justin and me even closer. I also must add, my bridesmaids are the best and have taken a ton of bricks off of our shoulders.”
Engagement Session Experience:
“Alex is great! When we first met him he welcomed us with a big hug and treated us as if we were family. Alex took two camera shy individuals and transformed us into two confident and fearless photogenic models (well we aren’t models, but we felt like it at the end of our shoot). Most importantly, Alex let us be ourselves and captured our personalities in every single picture. He even captured a moment of me jokingly balling my fist at Justin when we were disagreeing on a stance.”
