From the photographer:
“From the time we arrived for getting ready for photos with the girls and guys, we knew this day was off to a great start! Lindsay and George’s wedding day was absolutely one to remember. They planned an incredible first look, so after getting ready, we were off to Delaware Canal state park (not far from the venue). Not only is it really pretty this time of year, but the first look was very sweet. George was filled with emotion as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time. We had the most beautiful sunset in the park for portraits. You can see the last bit of fall colors, oranges, and rich tones coming through. Just gorgeous!
#oncloudklein was the perfect hashtag to remember this day! From the elegant ceremony and special moments with their family, there is really nothing that could have been better. All the details were styled perfectly with the color palette they chose. The florals were stunning from Northeast flower boutique. They installed a gorgeous wall that was so lush, and the candles complimented them perfectly. They were very romantic and set the mood for the sweetheart table.
We’ve also never seen friends and family having as good a time as they did at this reception! The guests were dancing and having so much fun with each other. There was even a good-spirited rivalry between two of the tables…seeing who was loudest! You’ll have to ask them who won (haha!). It was really funny!
The perfect evening with loved ones ended with the most beautiful sparkler exit and some magical evening portraits under the gazebo.” ~ Maria Kalitina
How did you and your partner meet?
From Lindsay:
“George and I met at Franklin Towne Charter high school in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia about 11 years ago (in 2011). George played on the baseball team, wrestling team and cross country. Lindsay played on field hockey and softball teams. One day during the off season we met through a mutual friend. Lindsay was on the seated row machine and George approached me to help me use it properly. After that we started talking more and our first date was to the Neshaminy movie theater to see the movie ‘the dilemma’. The rest is history from there “
How did George propose?
“George and I originally had plans to go to Punta Cana for vacation in the summer of 2019. However plans changed 2 weeks prior to departure and we changed our destination to Jamaica due to Punta Cana’s suspicious tourist death ( obviously had obstacles from the start from this leading up to covid lol).. In Jamaica on 7/8/2019 George unknowingly arranged a dinner on the beach at sunset where he finally proposed after all those years.”
What was your experience in planning your wedding?
“Planning a wedding during covid was certainly not easy, we originally were set to get married on 10/2/2020 however we decided to push the big wedding back to 11/14/20. We did have a vow ceremony on 10/2/2020 with just our close friends and family at Glenn Foerd on their beautiful grounds. Luckily for me( Lindsay) I had amazing bridesmaids through the whole process who truly kept me grounded and made sure I had all the bells and whistles, like all brides should have during wedding planning. One of my bridesmaids even traveled back and forth from Mesa Arizona, to Philly and even to Nashville for my bachelorette party. George and I truly could not have asked for a better wedding party. We would not have been able to do all this if it was not for our amazing parents.”
Tell us about your venue, and why you chose it?
“We picked Falls Manor because they literally help you do all the planning! All decorations are included, I literally did not have to think too hard because owner Sonya Elmore has it covered, not only is she a complete sweetheart, but she is a wedding genius! It is so modern and tailored to whatever your personality or vibe may be. Sonya has a ‘treasure chest’ of decorations that varies from lightning, napkins, tablecloths etc. it is basically a one stop shop!”
What was your inspiration for the wedding?
“I would say our inspiration was rustic, simple and fun! Also a part of the Falls Manor Package was the ability to use their in house DJ, photo booth and photographer, it literally made wedding planning so much easier knowing we did not have to look for these vendors on our own- AND each one was incredible!”
What was the best memory/moment from your wedding day?
“Just seeing all our friends, family and loved ones coming together celebrating us! I loved seeing everyone out on the dance floor having a good time. It has been a stressful last 8-9 months so seeing people enjoying themselves was so satisfying to the two of us. Another favorite memory was our first look, it really is such an intimate moment between bride and groom that George and I will cherish forever.”
What advice can you give to couples planning a wedding?
“Try not to stress or freak out too much! Obviously it is bound to happen at times but some things are just out of your control. Also lucky for Lindsay her mother Michelle took over a majority of the wedding planning. Weeks before we got engaged my mom and stepdad went venue hunting, my stepdad came across a Falls Manor billboard on I95 and my mom scoped out the place. If it was not for my mom and step dad we would not have had such an amazing turn out and event.”
What was your experience like working with your vendors?
“Amazing! Sonya Elmore at falls manor is so genuine and really wants you to have an amazing day filled with memories, the catering at Falls Manor is delicious also! We have guests who attended telling us how great the food was and how beautiful the venue is to this day! Pro Photo by Maria was awesome also, Maria and Maya were so helpful the day of the wedding. I literally did not have to think of any of the shots I wanted because they had it down to a T! The pictures we have seen so far are absolutely stunning! We are so eager to see the rest of them! Florist wise we used northeast flowers for the sweetheart backdrop and table, they did a breathtaking job. I can’t even describe it with words. It was gorgeous. Bouquets and boutonnières we used flower girl florist; reasonably priced, reliable and beautiful! Limos service we used sterling limousine, they were so nice, accommodating, professional and clean!. Entertainment wise we used Lebron Productions, Miquel was so helpful in helping us figure out introductions and dances. The pyrotechnics were such a great added touch to the vibe and photos. Also him and his team had everyone out on the dance floor all night! The photo booth was so much fun too! Every time I (Lindsay) turned around my step dad bill or our friend Sean Quinn were inside of it snapping hilarious pictures!”
