J&J Studios brings us a look at Lauren and Kai’s wedding
1. How and when did you and your partner meet?
Met when working a shift together in October 2019, spent the whole day talking about our lives and who had the better tales from college
2. How did they propose?
At the Philadelphia Flower Show on June 6th, 2021 under the pavilion of cascading flowers
3. What was your experience in planning your wedding?
The experience was surprisingly calm. We had a vision of what we wanted and everything came together seamlessly thanks to our amazing vendors.
4. Tell us about your venue and why you chose it.
Our venue was the Arts Ballroom in Philadelphia. Walking in we immediately fell in love with
the high ceilings, chandeliers, and timeless aesthetic it conveyed. The background matched
perfectly with what we envisioned.
5. What was your inspiration for the wedding?
Our inspiration was a glamorous winter evening like something you see out of old Hollywood. Mixed metals, blues, whites, sparkles, gowns, and tuxedos while adding a touch of cozy vibes
6. What was the best memory/moment from your wedding day?
Groom: The first look, felt there was a lot building up to it and was ecstatic to turn around and see here.
Bride: The first dance, it felt like everyone else melted away and it was just us two in the room.
7. What advice can you give to couples planning their wedding?
Enjoy every little step along the way from picking out flowers to deciding which invitations to choose because the day sneaks up sooner than you expectÂ
8. What was your experience like working with your vendors?
An amazing experience, each one was extremely communicative and there were no surprises on what to expect.
