Fall engagement sessions are easily our favorite, mainly because the beautiful foliage and weather create the perfect setting for photos like these! Valley Forge National Historical Park was the perfect place for this couple to explore with their photographer Alison Conklin. Susan and Craig have an undeniable charm that has us totally smitten! We love how their personalities shine through every photo, and their never-ending smiles show us they’re more than ready to tie the knot this fall. How They Met:
“Craig and I met at a bar in Philadelphia called Brü. A mutual friend was celebrating his birthday that evening and he introduced us to each other.”
“Craig’s my best friend. He is a kind and gentle man, constantly radiating positivity and making me laugh. I admire Craig for so many things, but most of all, he keeps me grounded and makes me a better person.”
The Proposal:
“Craig proposed on the golf course at my Mom’s home. He popped the question as I was putting on the ninth green (naturally, I missed my shot!). The moment was private and very sweet. Shortly afterward, we drove our golf cart home to share the exciting news with family and friends.”
“Craig and I both love the fall season. We knew we wanted to be outdoors for our engagement shoot and were able to book a session with Alison Conklin during November’s prime autumn foliage. We thought Valley Forge National Historical Park would be gorgeous at this time and boy were we right. Plus, the park was a special place to us since we frequented it often for long walks and picnics.”
Wedding Planning Experience:
“Wedding planning is coming along great! We’re looking forward to getting married at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul in December 2018 followed by our reception at the Crystal Tea Room. Craig and I have similar tastes so planning together has been a lot of fun. Next up on the to-do list: invites and florals!”
