A Pride and Prejudice Inspired Styled Shoot

From Nicole Cordisco Photography at Pen Ryn Estate

One of our favorite photographers, Nicole Cordisco, put together this very 19th century-esque styled shoot with some other incredible vendors.

From Nicole Cordisco:

“The inspiration for the shoot was Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and I was the coordinator for the shoot. Our colors were a mix of greens, gold, black and white. I picked Pen Ryn Mansion as the venue because it has that authentic vintage feel which I think is so romantic. I really wanted to spotlight the original tiled floors that were uncovered during a renovation years ago and the gorgeous library. Julia from Ruby Rivers Florals took my vision of mixing Mr Darcy’s elegance and Elizabeth Bennet’s rustic themes and made a beautiful blend of both with roses, ivy, and dried flowers. We tried to incorporate that same idea into all the pieces in the shoot. The farmhouse table from Tides Crossing with the delicate drapery and elegant table setting of Leo Design Gallery achieved just that. When choosing the gowns for our models, we wanted both a romantic layered ballgown and a modern chic gown. Van Cleve Bridal added extra touches with two beautiful capelets and bridal accessories.”
