When it comes to her husband-to-be, Kelly shares what she loves most about her fiance, “What do I love most about Frankie, there are many things I love about Frankie but to name a few I love that Frankie can always make me laugh and is always there to support me. Even when I am having a bad day or in a bad mood Frankie always finds a way to make me laugh. We can joke with each other and he always makes me smile. I also love that Frankie is always there to support me whether it be supporting and encouraging me to accomplish my goals or being there for family. Frankie is always there for my family when needed. Actually, Frankie is always there for anyone when needed. He always steps up and will do anything for anyone. Frankie has the biggest heart and is very family oriented which I love. Frankie is my biggest supporter through life. Throughout these past 10 years of friendship and then five years of dating Frankie has and is always there cheering me on and picking me up through the highs and lows. I can’t imagine my life without Frankie. He is truly my best friend.”
Frankie’s sentiments, “There is not just one thing I love about Kelly. She is special in so many ways! For instance, she always knows how to make me laugh and smile. It has been close to 10 years and I still laugh at all of her corny jokes, comments, and smile. Her smile could light up a room and every time she laughs or smiles I find myself smiling right back even if I am having a bad day, I still find myself smiling right back. Furthermore, she is the most caring person in the world. She would drop anything she was doing to be with me. Whether it is watching sports, going to history museums, or hearing me blab on about Christmas she just wants to be together and that means so much to me. Even though it may be things I really like she always makes these things so enjoyable and we make so many fun memories. ”
“She truly is my best friend, ever since freshman year of high school we have been best friends. Even though we love each other we will always be best friends and I think that is what makes me love her so much more. She always know hows to spark up a conversation that we can talk about for hours. She knows even after all these years we never run out of things to talk about.”
How They Met
“Frankie and I met in high school at Archbishop Wood. We were best friends throughout high school and always remained close even throughout college when we then began dating.”
The Proposal
“Frankie proposed at Lorimer Park in Abington. It was the first weekend after my first year of law school wrapped up. We woke up that Sunday and Frankie had planned for us to go fishing as we talked about doing. He said he found a new spot nearby we were going to try. I was of course hungry and wanted to eat first but Frankie was eager to go fishing. We then went to the park and it actually looked like it was going to rain. We got to the spot Frankie said he found and I noticed the water was super shallow to fish in. As I was looking at the area thinking how are we supposed to fish here I turned around and heard Frankie say “you know I love you right?” and I just remember that surreal feeling like is this happening. Frankie loves to tell everyone how I threw the fishing rod right down. It was such an amazing surprise. We then went back to my parents house where we were greeted by our families and friends and celebrated with our loved ones. It was the best day ever!”
Engagement Session Inspiration
“Our inspiration for the engagement photos was to look natural and embrace the beautiful fall scenery. We choose to get married in the fall and really wanted our engagement photos to also capture the beautiful fall leaves and colors. We love walking the Pennypack Trail and could not think of a better place to have our engagement photos. Kim actually was the one who suggested Pennypack as an option and showed us a different entrance/area of Pennypack that we had never seen before. It was the perfect weather and the scenery was beautiful!”
Wedding Planning
“We have started wedding planning and we really enjoyed picking a venue that really captures what we both were looking for. We choose PenRyn Estate because it was a classic and unique venue with some historical significance, which Frankie loves. We have met with both of our parents together to have dinner and discuss the wedding, shower, and rehearsal dinner and both have just enjoyed the time spent with both of our families as we plan for the big day! We are going to ask our bridal party this Christmas season and are getting more and more excited as we plan more and more!”
Kimberly Kunda Photography
“We absolutely loved our engagement shoot!! Kim Kunda is amazing!! She is so personal and really takes an interest in getting to know her clients. We truly felt she used the engagement session to bond with us. We at first felt a little awkward and nervous because we are not used to “posing” for pictures like that but Kim made sure we felt comfortable and like ourselves. She really made us feel so at ease. Kim really was able to capitalize on the beautiful areas within Pennypack to capture some really great shots in the various areas we explored. We loved how Kim was able to capture very candid moments between the two of us and believe she really captured us in the photos. Kim is also so flexible and willing to work with your schedule and needs. She never made us feel rushed and spent over two hours with us that day making sure we felt that we were able to get photos anywhere we wanted. We can not wait to see Kim again and have her at our big day to photograph all of the special moments! Kim is so genuine and happy for you, we love Kim!”
