“I love his confidence and drive in everything he does. But I also love that he has a really big soft side under all of that.”
The Proposal:
“Dave proposed down in Myrtle Beach. After a few rainy days, we were finally able to get out for a walk on the beach. He said a few sweet things then got down on one knee. Nothing over the top, just sweet and simple like he knew I would want :)”
Engagement Session Inspiration:
“We wanted something somewhat causal that felt true to us. Our relationship started in Philly so that was a place that had meaning to us. Dave loves the outdoors and I love the water. Boathouse row gave us the best of both worlds! And of course, we wanted to be able to include our furry friend, Jack.”
Wedding Planning:
“Wedding planning was a pretty good experience overall! Dave and I both went in with a pretty clear idea of how we wanted our day. And I had enough bridesmaid experience to know how to prepare for unexpected curve balls! We tried to put our time and energy into a few key details that would make the day really personal to us. And then everything else, just let it be! When things did get a little crazy, we just stopped and reminded ourselves what the real meaning of the whole day was. I think it’s easy for brides to lose sight of that. My advice for any bride in the planning process would be as long as there is good food, good music, & cold drinks, your day will be a huge success! And of course a great photographer helps too ;)”
