Love, bursts of color, and happy vibes are basically all you need to guarantee an awesome wedding! Mary Kate and Nick are absolutely adoring, and their wholehearted relationship resonates all throughout their one-of-a-kind wedding day. Alison Conklin Photography is telling their beautiful love story through these visually stunning photographs that perfectly capture the organic chemistry between this impeccable duo. Front and Palmer was the perfect haven for this vivid wedding with its unique modern factory design. In contrast to the chromatic flower arrangements crafted by Wild Stems, and the super charming decor put together by Confetti & Co., these were just a few ingredients that tied this vibrant celebration together!
How They Met:
“We met in college. We had a class together our Junior year and he asked everyone to sing me Happy Birthday. That was embarrassing but it did the trick.”
The Proposal:
“A few years ago Nick and I decided we wanted to try and visit every National Park together. One per year. We started with Acadia and that’s where he proposed. We rode bikes to Jordan Pond and took a break by the water. I jumped up on a rock to film the scenery and when I turned around he was on one knee. I actually have the whole thing on video.”
Wedding Planning Experience:
“Wedding planning was pretty fun. It’s a little stressful in the beginning because you have to make big decisions. I felt like I needed to have a clear vision or theme or what we wanted but we like so many different things it was hard to choose.”
Wedding Planning Advice:
“Don’t be afraid to do what feels right even if you have other people telling you differently.”
Wedding Inspiration:
“We ended up just picking things we liked and it evolved into the most beautiful day. We never picked a theme. Our wedding was a compilation of us. We had a National Park map, board games, dinosaurs, and lots of greenery and flowers.”
Best Memory:
“Nick and I really wanted to spend as much of our wedding day together with our family and friends. We set up our timeline so we could attend cocktail hour. Alison and Geoff are the most amazing photographers and we ended up getting to Front and Palmer before everyone else. We headed upstairs and for about 5 minutes we got to walk around the space, have a drink, be together and just enjoy the moment.”
Wedding Vendor Experience:
“Amazing. Many of our vendors had already worked together, or worked at our wedding venue, and that was important to us.”
