“Wedding planning was stressful at first! I wanted to make sure everyone in my family was happy, and that quickly backfired. Mark and I needed to determine what was important to us as a couple before taking in other people’s opinions. Setting up a project plan and organizing key dates and timelines was essential to staying on top of planning.”
The Inn at Lambertville Station
“We chose the Inn at Lambertville Station as our venue for so many reasons. It is a beautiful venue located in a quaint town along the Delaware River. The setting is so pretty regardless of what time of year you get married. Additionally, we liked the idea of our guests staying in the same location as the wedding. We were impressed by the events/planning staff from the start, and everyone involved in our wedding were rock stars until the end. And lastly, we wanted our guests blown away by the food, and they were!”
Wedding Inspiration
“We didn’t have a specific theme to our wedding. The natural setting of the venue inspired us. Being surrounded by the water and the bridge in the background dictated some of the decisions around flowers and photos. We were blessed with a beautiful background, and we didn’t really need to enhance it that much.”
Best Wedding Memory
“There were so many great moments! Exchanging our own written vowels was a top moment for us. As much as the day was for us, we were committed to creating an inclusive and fun environment that brought people together. People’s positive feedback throughout our wedding day was memorable, and it meant a lot to us knowing everyone was having a good time.”

“Plan out your timeline for key decisions. One decision impacts another decision so get organized up front to prevent unneeded stress. Also, your wedding photos are key to reliving so many special memories of your wedding day. Don’t underestimate the need for a great photographer. Wedding Vendor Experience
“The easiest part about planning the wedding was working with vendors. EVERY vendor we worked with was awesome and talented. I spent a lot of time researching and interviewing florists, photographers, hair/makeup, bands, etc. Vendor services/finished product were obviously of great importance to us, but we were equally interested in how we interacted with people. We wanted to to be surrounded by people we genuinely liked on our wedding day. I was so happy with our vendors and feel so grateful everything went smoothly.
