Nicole Cordisco Photography brings us a very Halloween inspired wedding at Penn Ryn Estate. Jen and Cody designed one of the best “Spooky” weddings we’ve ever seen with layers upon layers of personal details and touches. 1. How did you and your partner meet?
– At a house party!
2. How did Cody propose?
-He took me on vacation to Seaside Heights. He had already planned for our parents to be there waiting. He didn’t have the patience to wait until the boardwalk, so as soon as we got to the air bnb he popped the question.
3. What was your experience in planning your wedding?
-We basically did most of the stuff on our own. It was a lot of work but we gave ourselves plenty of time to get it all figured out.
4. Tell us about your venue.
– We got married at Penn Ryn Estate in Bensalem. The place is beautiful. We picked Rivers Edge because we love water. Funny enough we are actually pregnant at the moment and will be naming our son River. But the venue was gorgeous. It barely needed any decorations.
5. What was the best memory or moment from your wedding day:
-Our first dance. Cody picked the song out and it was perfect. It was like nobody else existed in the moment.
6. What advice can you give to couples planning a wedding:
-Don’t overthink things. Don’t let other people try to tell you what you want. In the end its your day and you need to make sure you are happy with it.
7. What was your experience like working with your vendors?
-All of our vendors were very good. Very responsive when we had questions. The venue did not get annoyed with the 20,000 silly questions i may have had. Our photographer was awesome in giving a timeline for the day of. Soo helpful because we would have been lost otherwise.
