How They Met:
“Greg and I met while I was working at a local deli while I was in college. Greg would come in on his lunch break from work to grab something to eat and would casually talk to me while I was ringing him up. We ended up seeing each other at a local bar one night and the rest is history!”

The Proposal:
“We had our parents over for dinner one last time before we moved out of our apartment. While I was making dinner in the kitchen, Greg was waiting for me with both sets of parents. When I walked into the living room he was down on one knee and I was in total shock. I ended up burning the dinner!”

 Wedding Planning Experience:
“We had about a year and a half to plan our wedding. We got most of the big things done in the beginning like finding a venue, photographer, videographer, and DJ. Having a lot of time and getting these things done early made the process a lot less stressful! At the time, planning the wedding was overwhelming and I just wanted the day to be here but now I find myself wanting to go back and plan it all again! I really enjoyed putting all of the details together and seeing it come to life!”

 Wedding Inspiration:
“When planning our wedding, we wanted a rustic feel but also keeping the evening elegant.  We enjoy making wood pieces for our home so we wanted to tie that into our wedding. We created all of our table numbers, signs, and some other decor. Since our wedding was in the fall,  we wanted to keep the colors deep and romantic. We wanted to stay away from the typical fall colors so we decided to use deep maroons, taupe, navy, and golds. When designing my bouquet, I wanted to make sure to include a lot of greens and foliage with a wispy feel. The dress I chose was Enzoani Dakota, a strapless, lace mermaid fit dress.  Since we had our ceremony at a Church, I had a bolero made to put over my dress. After our ceremony and photos I was able to take the bolero off for the reception. I wanted a dress that was both elegant and romantic. Ultimately the ambiance I was envisioning was achieved. The entire day was beautiful and everything I dreamed of (Even with some rain!)”

Wedding Planning Advice:
“Our advice for couples planning a wedding is to enjoy every second of it. at times it can be frustrating and overwhelming but it will all come together. The day is over before you know it so enjoy every second of it even the days counting up to it. When the day comes, make sure you both take a moment to step back and take it all in. It’s amazing how caught up in the day you can get and it’s important to make sure you take that time for yourselves.”

 Best Memory:
“The wedding day went by so fast we still find ourselves trying to piece together the day. Our reception was over in the blink of an eye and we had the best time. One thing we both remember from the reception was being on the dance floor and looking around at all of our guests enjoying themselves. It was such an amazing feeling knowing they were all there for us and how much fun we were all having.”

Wedding Vendor Experience:
“Our vendors were amazing! The staff at our venue were more than accommodating and made sure everything was perfect the day of the wedding. Our photographer, Pat, was so much fun to work with and made us feel so comfortable. The pictures are beautiful and we are so happy that he was able to capture the special moments of the day! Our florist, Kremp Florist, made sure to include all the details I had asked for. Everything was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t be happier!”
