How They Met:
“We actually met at a bar in Baltimore even though both of us were from Philly. His best friend starting talking to me first and when I mentioned I was from Philly, he pointed me over to Joe!”

From the Bride-to-be:
“I love his sense of humor. He can make a joke out of anything and its funny… even on the worst of days he can make me smile.”

The Proposal:
“We were out to dinner at Jones on 7th and Chestnut on a random September night. We had planned to meet up with my sister and some people after we were done. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone to figure out a plan so Joe suggested we go for a walk and we ended up by the Liberty Bell ‘because he had never seen it’. We were goofing around taking pictures in front of the glass looking inside and I had my back to him looking inside and I saw in the glass reflection him drop to one knee. After the shock subsided a little, I called my parents shortly after and my mom told me to come over and when we got there we were greeted by our family and friends! Even after 7+ years of dating, I was definitely surprised.”

Engagement Session Inspiration:
“We started to build our lives together a few years ago in East Falls so we wanted to stay in the neighborhood. There are so many awesome spots in that neighborhood. McMichael Park is 4 blocks away from our house and we have always loved the Falls Bridge.”

Wedding Planning Experience:
“Things are actually going pretty smooth! We have most of the big things planned out (venue, date, dress, bridesmaids dresses, church, DJ, photographer) and just starting to count down until July 22! Not TOO stressed out yet.”

Engagement Session Experience:
“Elizabeth was AMAZING! She has such a great vision for the space in the park and the bridge. She was very professional but also very warm and bubbly! She is the sweetest person, so excited and genuine with every conversation! We absolutely love every single solitary photo she took and cannot wait for her to shoot our wedding!”
