Stunning, Old-World Real Wedding at Material Culture

One of our favorite venues, Material Culture, stopped doing weddings just before the pandemic in 2020. Which is super unfortunate because the venue, which is actually an eclectic antiques emporium, is simply the most unique space in Philadelphia. So it’s a bitter sweet moment for us to share with you one of the final weddings ever at Material Culture, brought to us by the uber talented Alexzandra Robertson. Follow along as we see some getting ready, a first look at the Water Works, a touching ceremony and some truly first rate choreographed dancing for the first dance.

From Alexzandra Robertson, the photographer:

“I’m unbelievably excited to share this amazing couple’s images. I don’t have words for how thrilled I am not only that these two perfect souls are married, but that I got to be a part of it. These two are some of the kindest, most generous, and in love people I’ve ever met. Everything about their day was gorgeous, and I cannot express how grateful I am to have met them and been honored to be a part of such a beautiful day.”
